Store concept

The Masmoudi Store Concept is first of all the visual curl that includes not only the house-style book, but also the shop decorations, the shop windows fitting, the display of the products…, with the famous blue and white colours of Sidi Bou Saïd on the background. Thus shops become easily noticeable, offering a piece of dream to the visitors.  

For three decades, the brand was remarkably improved and managed to distinguish from the other brands on the local market and the foreign market as well. Such distinction happened thanks to an innovative concept for the traditional pastry, based on the elaboration of several specific particularities to the brand:

  • Physical identity (Masmoudi Decorations and displays are faithful to the painted and carved wood work inherited from Andalusia and developed in Tunisia).
     
  • Visual identity (the « Masmoudi purple », and also the shop window recognizable from distance),
     
  • State of mind (Masmoudi store is as beautiful as an art gallery, a museum or even a workshop of a passionate craftsman)

The atmosphere emanating from the stores proves to be refined, modern without neglecting the benefits of our tradition. Even though the decoration is typically Tunisian with a traditional Andalusian inspiration, the forms and colours are modern and original. The components of the stores consist of a false ceiling made of wood, of corners, of shelves, of counters, of wood walls, and of a tea-room.



Thus was born the Masmoudi concept. An attractive decoration which reproduces some traditional forms and fitted out in a modern way, conferring an efficient ergonomics to the shop. All the atmosphere of the store is based on the decoration and the arrangement of those diverse components which will be selected and fitted in an ergonomic and efficient manner, according to the store area.

But more than a strictly material, the shop area is fitted out in the way that  makes the customer feel welcomed and accepted, as a guest who wants to discover new feelings, which are not only visual but also olfactory.

Finally, the furniture is arranged in such a beautiful way that the customer feels like seeing all the products. These products are classified according to their characteristics (cooked, honey basted, flaky). The role of the sales promoter is to make the customer want to taste all the items and kinds of pastry.
